Flavour

Soft, unmistakably meaty pieces with 70% British meat at the head of every label, one animal per recipe, and all six sit in our Good band. The maker calls it air dried; in the bowl it behaves like a semi-moist food. Each list is itemised down to the herb.

Our view

Likely to suit

Dogs that find hard biscuit heavy going
One named animal in the bowl
Rotating proteins across beef, lamb, pork, duck, chicken and salmon on one base
Puppies, adults and older dogs alike
Fussy eaters bored of dry food. The glycerine keeps each piece moist and mildly sweet

Worth watching

No calcium figure on any of the six
Fish only in the Wild Salmon Fishcakes, leaving five for a dog kept off it
Moisture dilutes the energy, so measure against the feeding guide from the first meal
