Terms of use
Short and standard. These are the terms you accept by using the site, what our reviews are (and are not), and where our responsibility ends.
Last updated: 28 August 2026
About these terms
Off the Leash is operated by Off the Leash Digital Ltd, trading as Off the Leash (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under number 17422303, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Questions about anything here can go to woof@off-the-leash.co.uk, and our full company details are on the contact page.
Our content is independent opinion
Reviews, scores, rankings, comparisons and guides on this site are our editorial opinion, formed by applying a published method to publicly available product information. You can read that method in full on how we score dog food.
Brands cannot buy a score, a ranking or a place in a review. Where we earn commission, it never changes how a product scores. That is set out on our affiliate disclosure page.
General information, not veterinary advice
Everything here is general information about dog food and dog products. It is not veterinary advice, and it is not tailored to your individual dog. Dogs with health conditions, dietary intolerances, weight problems or special needs should be fed on the advice of a vet who has examined them.
Our tools, including the Food Finder and the calculators, produce estimates from the figures you give them. Treat the results as a starting point for a conversation with your vet, not as a prescription. If your dog is unwell, speak to a vet.
Product data, prices and availability
Nutritional figures, ingredient lists, pack sizes, prices and availability are taken from product packaging, manufacturer websites and retailer listings, and they change. Recipes get reformulated, packs get resized and prices move without notice, so information on this site can be out of date or wrong at the moment you read it.
Always check the pack and the retailer’s own listing before you buy or feed anything. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will look at it.
Buying from retailers
We do not sell anything. When you follow a link and buy from a retailer, the contract is between you and that retailer, on their terms. Payment, delivery, returns, refunds and any consumer rights you have are matters for them, not for us.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.
Our content and how you may use it
The text, scores, methodology, images, illustrations, design and code on this site belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
- You are welcome to read, print and share individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and to quote us briefly with a link back.
- Please do not republish, resell or redistribute our content, scrape or bulk-copy the site or its data, or use it to train or populate another product or database, without our written permission.
- Please do not interfere with the site, its security or its availability, or attempt to access parts of it that are not made public.
- Use the site lawfully. Do not use it in any way that breaks the law, is fraudulent, or causes harm to other people.
Brand names, product names and logos belong to their owners and appear here for identification and review.
Liability
We put real work into being accurate, but the site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, complete, current or error free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything published here, including any loss connected with a product you buy from a retailer.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may change the site, its content and these terms. The current version always sits on this page with the date it was last updated, which is 28 August 2026. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
