Nutriwolds Complete: Rare Bit of Rabbit review

88/100Outstanding
RawAdult

Raw food written out to the second decimal place, seven of the eight recipes in our Outstanding band and the unroasted beef just below in Excellent. Every ingredient carries a percentage, the meat is human grade and the vegetables organic. The recipes run from a very lean rabbit to a properly rich lamb.

Our view

Likely to suit

  • Anyone who reads a label line by line
  • Rotation feeders, with eight recipes from chicken to trout
  • Dogs that need a less common meat. Rabbit and pork both lead a recipe
  • Working dogs and easy keepers alike, as energy swings widely between recipes
  • Owners who care where food comes from: grass fed beef, free range pork, organic produce

Worth watching

  • Ox organs in every recipe and fish or oysters on most, so beef and fish are hard to avoid
  • Bone swings from 1.09% to 14%, so stools can shift when you switch
  • Frozen storage and a planned thaw come with raw feeding

If the ordinary meats have all been tried, this is the next stop.

Every entry in all eight recipes carries its own percentage, and each label prints a total bone content. Grass fed ox heart, liver and spleen run through the range whichever animal leads, so beef is in every recipe. Cod liver oil, fish or oyster appear on most. Bone runs from 1.09% to 14%. Carbohydrate estimates from nothing up to 7.6% of dry matter.

Micronutrition comes from food, with no premix and no vitamin and mineral panel printed. The vegetables (red cabbage, courgette, mooli) and the herb tail are organic and sit at small shares. Organic wheatgrass is the young leaf of the wheat plant and carries no gluten.
