73.9/100Excellent

Our view

Likely to suit

  • Muscular, food-driven dogs that need most of the bowl to be meat
  • Managing a meat intolerance: fat, gravy and stock stay with the same animal
  • Grain-free homes, with sweet potato and beans doing the binding
  • Creaking joints, if you pick the beef. It is the only one with a dosed joint pack

Worth watching

  • An omega 3 supplement with no named source, the loose end for a strict elimination diet
  • High protein across the range, more than a very sedentary dog strictly needs

Each recipe has its own

The gentlest start for a dog with no history on beef or salmon.

Each variety declares 65% animal content and prints the sums: 35% freshly prepared meat, a dried share in the twenties, then fat, gravy or stock from the same species. Sweet potato, beans and beet pulp do the plant side with no grain.

Protein converts to between 34.8% and 41.3% of dry matter and carbohydrate to between 29.9% and 37.5%. Every recipe has its own superfood blend, an unnamed omega 3 supplement, and FOS and MOS at printed doses. Only the beef carries a joint pack.
