Briantos
Briantos Essentials Adult: Fish review
Briantos's plainest kibble, and both varieties sit in our Poor band. The label lists categories in place of ingredients, so the only fixed point in the meat is a 4% share of fish or poultry. Plenty of dogs eat food like this happily; the label simply gives you no way to know exactly what is in the bag.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Hardy dogs with no sensitivities, for an uncomplicated daily bowl
- Trying a small bag before settling on anything long term
- Dogs that do fine on mainstream grain-based recipes, since grains lead the list
Worth watching
- Category names that let the recipe shift between batches, a problem for any dog with an intolerance
- Salmon oil in both, so the Poultry is not fish free
