Bonacibo
Bonacibo Adult Dog: Lamb & Rice review
A chicken and rice family that does more than its shelf position suggests, with all four recipes in our Good band. Glucosamine and chondroitin are dosed on every label and the vitamins are itemised down to biotin. There is a version for a quiet dog, a working one and a dog that eats lamb.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs of any build and pace. There is a standard recipe, a lighter Form, a High Energy and a lamb option
- Ageing joints, with glucosamine and chondroitin dosed in print on every variety
- Dogs that like fish, as anchovy meal and oil run through the range
- Owners who want a fully itemised vitamin panel on a complete chicken and rice kibble
Worth watching
- Anchovy in all four, so none suits a fish-avoiding dog
- Refined chicken oil in the Lamb & Rice, which matters if chicken is what you are avoiding
- Maize in every recipe, for a dog with a known grain issue

A different meat for a dog tired of chicken, as long as chicken fat is no problem.
A dehydrated meat protein heads every list, chicken in three recipes and lamb in the fourth, with Baldo rice and maize carrying the starch. Anchovy appears twice in each, as meal and as oil, alongside refined chicken oil. Protein runs from 27.2% to 30.4% of dry matter and the carbohydrate estimate from 45.2% to 49.4%.
The supporting list is the same throughout: yeast, carob and beet pulp for digestion, a mannan oligosaccharide prebiotic, a botanical tail and a Phenomind blend at 0,024%. What changes is the meat share and the fat and fibre.
