Flavour

Four tins on one foundation, all in our Excellent band, and the protein figures are exceptional for food from a can. Chicken fillet and broth make up most of every tin, with liver and organ meat weighed in at 10%. The names on the front are the accents: chicken is the meal.

All four tins share one engine: chicken fillet at 45%, broth at 28.8%, 10% liver and other organ meat, then 5% of the animal named on the front. One 3% vegetable is the only starch, and salmon oil at 0.2% closes every list.

That build gives protein of 58.3% to 60.9% of dry matter and estimated carbohydrate of 5.9% to 8.3%, against 15.8% for a typical adult wet food. The tin names describe the accents; chicken is the bulk.
