Poppy's Picnic
Poppy's Picnic Raw Power Mince: Chicken Mince review
Bone-in raw mince, and all five recipes sit in our Outstanding band. Calcium arrives the way raw traditionally delivers it, out of ground ribs, drumsticks or carcass, with heart, liver and kidney on every label. There is no premix; each stand-in is named for what it supplies.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Raw feeders who want calcium from the grind
- The widest rotation, with venison and duck beside beef, chicken, lamb and turkey
- Owners who want each cut printed with its own share
- Dogs that hold weight easily, on the lean venison and duck
- Every size and age, from puppies to old dogs
Worth watching
- Beef organs and salmon oil in all five, so beef and fish are in every bowl
- Calcium high on three recipes, reaching 2.01% of dry matter on the chicken
- The raw routine: freezer space, fridge thawing and a proper clean down
