Lukullus
Lukullus Adult Tins: Rabbit & Game review
The grain-keeping half of the Lukullus tin family, and all four recipes land in our Excellent band. The draw is the animals: rabbit, game and goose, meats most British dogs have never met. The grain is a spoonful, 3% to 5% of the tin.

Our view
Likely to suit
- A dog that has worked through chicken and beef and started leaving food in the bowl
- Rabbit, game, goose and salmon spread across the four labels
- Offal fans. Hearts, liver, lung and rumen are named on every tin
- Owners happy with a little grain in small printed amounts
- Big dogs, with each recipe also sold in an 800g tin
- Mixed households of adults and seniors
Worth watching
- Game is not a species, so the Rabbit & Game cannot anchor an elimination diet on its own
- Barley brings gluten to the Turkey Hearts & Goose
- No calcium on the Salmon & Chicken label, and its carbohydrate is the highest of the four

All four Excellent. Typical wet food: Excellent.

- Rice3%Brown rice, the grain in this tin.
- Minerals1%
- Linseed oil0.5%The one named oil.

Two unusual proteins in one tin, for a dog that reacts to the everyday meats.
Three of the four tins pair two 33% meat blocks; the Salmon & Chicken runs chicken at 46% and salmon at 20%. Offal does much of the work inside those blocks, all of it named, and meat stock follows at 26.5% to 27.5%.
Each tin keeps a small grain at 3% to 5% (rice, millet, barley or oat flakes) beside a fruit or vegetable, and closes on one named oil at 0.5%. Every tin carries the same dosed vitamin and trace mineral panel. Calcium is printed on three of the four.
