Lukullus
Lukullus Adult Pouches Grain Free: Beef à La Provençale review
Three Excellent pouches with a label that tells you which parts of the animal went in. Beef à la Provençale lists 65% beef as meat, heart, lung and tripe. Where most wet food gives a species and a percentage, these give the cuts.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs kept to red meat: the Provençale names beef as its only declared animal
- Owners who want organ meat itemised, cut by cut
- Dogs off grain, with potato or sweet potato the only starch
- Adults and older dogs alike, as all three are fed into the senior years
- A measured serving in a 300g pouch
Worth watching
- Stock at up to 27.8% with no animal named, an open entry on an elimination diet
- Poultry is a category, so the Poultry and Lamb pouch could carry chicken, duck, goose or turkey
- Potatoes in the Poultry and Lamb title, sweet potato in its ingredients

The single-species pouch, and the one for a dog kept to red meat.
Every pouch declares its animal content by cut, so heart, lung, liver, tripe, gizzards and neck are itemised. Stock is the second entry each time, between 25.8% and 27.8%, and it is the one part of the lists left unnamed.
The plant side is thin and grain free, with potato or sweet potato at 5% or less as the only starch, and estimated carbohydrate runs from 12.1% to 21.6% of dry matter. The added oils differ by recipe: olive, linseed and grapeseed. Additive panels are dosed on every pouch but not identical.
