Lukullus
Lukullus Adult Tins Grain Free: Beef & Turkey review
Five tins built on named offal and muscle, all in our Excellent band. Hearts, liver, lung, rumen and necks are each listed, never pooled into a category term. The plant side is deliberately thin and there is no cereal.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs that eat with more enthusiasm when there is offal in the bowl
- Owners who like reading the actual cuts
- Grain-avoiding households
- One-animal feeding: the Pork names pork and nothing else
- Rotation feeders, since only the meat moves from tin to tin
- Large dogs, with an 800g tin across most of the range
Worth watching
- Poultry left unnamed on the Poultry and Lamb tin
- The vitamin panel shifts between recipes
- An open 800g tin needs covering and keeping in the fridge

Among the denser tins here, so servings run a little smaller than the range average.
Every recipe has the same build: two blocks of named meat and offal, around two thirds of the tin, then meat stock and a short plant list. The Pork is the exception, a single 65% block. Hearts lead almost every list, with liver, lung, rumen, necks and stomachs itemised.
No cereal appears; potato, sweet potato, broccoli or courgette carry the little starch there is. Each tin has one named oil at 0.5% or 0.3%. Protein converts to between 43.3% and 47.7% of dry matter across the five.
