Calibra
Calibra Life Adult Monoprotein Cans: Lamb review
Five single-animal cans in our Excellent band, each holding its meat at 70% with very little on top. Only the animal and one 4% companion change from can to can, which makes rotating proteins simple. Wild boar is the unusual one.

Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs kept on one meat. Each can names a single land animal
- Rotating proteins, with five cans built to one pattern
- A dog that has worked through the everyday meats, thanks to the wild boar
- Grain-avoiding homes: the beef, turkey and wild boar carry no cereal
- Adults of every size, toy to giant
Worth watching
- Salmon oil at 1% on all five, so none is fish free
- Rice at 4% in the duck and the lamb
- Pea flour high on every list with no percentage, so the plant share cannot be read off the label

The leanest can, for a dog that does better on a lighter bowl.
Every can holds one named land animal at 70%, with nothing else above 4%. That 4% companion is the main difference: carrots with the beef, apples with the turkey, cranberries with the wild boar and rice with the duck and the lamb. Pea flour, lignocellulose, salmon oil at 1% and calcium carbonate finish every list.
In dry matter, protein runs from 40.9% to 43.2% and fat from 27.3% to 36.4%. Calcium converts to 1.36% throughout, and the vitamin and mineral panel is the same on all five.
