Tribal Fresh Pressed Adult – Fresh Chicken

Tribal

Tribal Fresh Pressed Adult: Fresh Chicken review

63.6/100Good
Cold pressedAdult

A cold-pressed range on one blueprint, fresh named meat and sweet potato at 35% each. The pellets are pressed cool, so they crumble in water where a kibble would swell. The chicken and turkey sit in our Good band and the salmon reaches Excellent.

Our view

Likely to suit

  • A dry-fed routine off a cereal base, with no maize or wheat anywhere
  • Joints with some wear, on dosed glucosamine, green lipped mussel and chondroitin
  • Fast eaters. A cold-pressed pellet breaks apart in water and does not expand after swallowing
  • A house with a 5kg lapdog and a 60kg giant, since the feeding guide stretches that far
  • Dogs settled on one bird or on fish

Worth watching

  • Fish in all three, and green lipped mussel is a shellfish
  • Carbohydrate above the middle of the cold-pressed field on every recipe
  • Whole egg in every recipe

Bird-only apart from the fish protein and egg, and the middle of the range for richness.

One blueprint across all three: fresh named meat at 35%, sweet potato at 35%, a hydrolysed fish protein at 10% to 13% and whole egg at 5% to 8%. Protein converts to 25.0% of dry matter on every recipe. There is no wheat, maize or rice, and carbohydrate runs from 50.6% to 53.5% of dry matter against 43.2% for the middle of the cold-pressed field.

Every recipe carries glucosamine at 980 mg/kg, green lipped mussel at 500 mg/kg and chondroitin sulphate at 450 mg/kg, with an itemised herbal blend at 0.25%. What changes is the meat and the oil behind it.
