Natures Menu Complete & Balanced 80/20 Nuggets: Goose & Turkey review
Flavour
The widest raw range Natures Menu makes, and all eleven recipes sit in our Outstanding band. What sets it apart is the larder: rabbit, venison, goose, pork and duck beside the familiar beef and chicken. Every recipe is frozen into nuggets you count into the bowl.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs on an elimination trial, with five recipes keeping to one named animal
- A dog that needs something it has never eaten
- Owners who portion by the nugget
- Rotation feeders. Every recipe shares one build and only the animal really changes
- Dogs kept off grain
Worth watching
- Pairs named for the second animal: chicken leads the Duck and the Salmon, turkey leads the Goose and the Rabbit
- Two fish species in the Fish recipe
- Nuggets thaw fast, so take out a day's worth and keep raw handling clean

Worth a look when the usual birds are off the table, provided turkey is fine.
Every recipe follows one rule: 80% named meat or fish, a fruit at 4% and a short vegetable fraction, then yucca, green tea, added minerals, pea fibre and a trace of yeast product. Nothing is grain. Five recipes keep to one animal; the rest pair two, and turkey or chicken leads most of the pairs.
The fruit changes with the animal and chicory turns up on three labels. Protein runs from 37.5% to 43.3% of dry matter and fat from 25.0% to 39.3%, a wide spread for recipes that read so alike.
