My Pet Says Superfood 65 Puppy – Scottish Salmon

My Pet Says

My Pet Says Superfood 65 Puppy: Scottish Salmon review

75.6/100Excellent
DryPuppy

A grain-free puppy range in our Excellent band, with 65% animal ingredients on every bag and the working shown on the back. Calcium is printed on all three and sits inside the growth range. That is why the maker can offer it for pups from toy to giant.

Our view

Likely to suit

  • Pups of any size, large and giant breeds included
  • Grain-free homes. Sweet potato and beans do the binding
  • Owners who want gut support given a number
  • Pups who want more meat and less starch than a typical puppy kibble

Worth watching

  • The joint pack is on only two of the three
  • Two animals in the turkey and pork

The score, in context
  1. Angus Beef 78.1
  2. Responsibly Sourced British Turkey 77.8
  3. Scottish Salmon 75.6

All three Excellent. Typical dry food: Good.

Consistency earns the position: an itemised meat share, a lighter starch base than most growth foods and calcium printed on every bag.

Every bag declares 65% animal ingredients and shows the split: freshly prepared meat at 35%, a dried share of the same animal, then fat or gravy. Sweet potato and beans bind all three, with beet pulp for fibre and no cereal anywhere.

Prebiotics are dosed on every label and olive extract closes each list. Calcium runs from 1.2% to 1.41% of dry matter, each inside the growth range. The superfood blend and the joint pack change with the recipe.
