Lifestage
Lifestage Raw Adult: Salmon review
Raw feeding with the extras already folded in. A named animal and its own organs lead each recipe, and then the label keeps going: prebiotics, dosed joint support and a full vitamin and trace element panel printed for every tub. All five sit in our Outstanding band, clear of the middle of the adult raw field.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Older and hard-worked dogs, with glucosamine and chondroitin dosed on every label
- Dogs held to one animal. The Beef, Chicken, Salmon and Turkey keep to a single species, oil included
- Owners who want the vitamins and minerals declared, not assumed
- Digestion that needs a hand: chicory extract, inulin and MOS in every tub
- Anything from a lapdog to a giant, with portions guided from 5kg to 40kg
Worth watching
- No bone in the Salmon. Rotate it with the others
- Chicken leads the Lamb & Chicken, which matters if lamb was the reason you chose it
- Freezer space, fridge defrosting and a proper clean-up after each meal

The richest tub here, best used in rotation with the bone-in recipes.
A named animal with its bone leads four of the five tubs, at 63% to 70.5%, with that animal's liver, heart, lung or kidney straight behind; the Salmon is boneless fish at 81.5%. Carrot, broccoli, kale and spinach are the same in every recipe. Linseed oil supplies omega 3 on four, and the Salmon adds no oil at all.
Every tub closes with chicory extract, inulin and MOS, glucosamine at 400 mg/kg and chondroitin at 300 mg/kg, then a few herbs at trace level. Each recipe prints its own vitamin and trace element panel. The analyses vary more than the build suggests: fat runs from 16.4% to 52.4% of dry matter.
