Caboodle Superfood Puppy Dry Food: Turkey review
Three grain-free puppy kibbles with a 65% meat headline, all in our Excellent band. The back of each bag breaks that figure down instead of leaving it whole. The superfood blend gives the range its name, though it is a garnish more than a share of the bowl.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Puppies fed grain free
- Owners who want the meat headline itemised
- Rearing on one animal, which the beef and salmon bags keep to
- Starting joint care early on the beef or salmon, with glucosamine and MSM at 178 mg/kg each
- Gut support printed with doses across the range
Worth watching
- Turkey and pork together in the turkey bag
- No calcium on the turkey label, the figure that matters most for a big pup
- A different superfood blend in each flavour, so read bag by bag if a vegetable has caused trouble

Pork makes it a useful novel protein for a pup that has met chicken and beef too often.
Every bag declares 65% meat on the front and splits it on the back into fresh, dried, fat and gravy from the same animal. Sweet potato and beans do the binding, with beet pulp behind them and no cereal anywhere. FOS at 175 mg/kg and MOS at 50 mg/kg are printed on all three.
What varies is the animal, the dried superfood blend, the joint pack (beef and salmon only) and whether calcium and moisture are declared, which the turkey leaves off.
