Each recipe is built on one named animal with nothing else of animal origin: pork split into dried meat, fat and gravy, or salmon split four ways. There is no unnamed fat, generic oil or hydrolysate on either list.

Sweet potato, potato and peas replace grain, chicory pulp is the prebiotic, and the joint set is dosed the same on both. Protein converts to 25.0% of dry matter on each; the animal, the starch balance and the fat are what change.
