What's on the label

Rice flour opens the list and hydrolysed soya protein isolate follows, with animal fats third and whole rice fourth. The pack prints what each source contributes: hydrolysed soya protein isolate at 17.6% and hydrolysed poultry liver at 5.0%, with rice named as the carbohydrate source at 48.1%.

Hydrolysis breaks a protein down into far smaller fragments than the whole ingredient carries, and that process is the mechanism the range is built around. Both named protein entries here have been through it, so the poultry liver arrives hydrolysed rather than as liver in the ordinary sense.

Three entries keep this from being a fully closed list. Animal fats name no species, fish oil brings a fish-derived ingredient into the food, and hydrolysed or not, the poultry liver is still poultry material. The maker hides none of it.
