Nature's Harvest
Nature's Harvest Adult: Chicken review
One construction wearing five different animals, all in our Excellent band. Meat is 60% in every recipe, brown rice at 5% is the only cereal, and nearly every line on the label carries a printed percentage, including the trace extras most makers leave vague.

Our view
Likely to suit
- Owners who read the back of the pack before the front
- The animal share quantified, at 60% on every recipe
- Dogs that do well on a modest amount of gentle grain
- Multi-dog homes, from toy breeds to giants
- Rotation feeding: the supporting ingredients never change, only the animal does
- Vegetables in the bowl, declared as their fresh equivalents
Worth watching
- Salmon oil in all five, so fish is on every label
- Brown rice in every recipe, if cereal is off the list
- The Duck shares its meat equally with chicken

Where poultry has caused no trouble, this is the obvious starting point.
Every recipe declares meat at 60% and brown rice at 5% as its only cereal, then the same dried carrots and peas, salmon oil, herbs and printed trace extras. Chicken, Lamb and Turkey give the whole 60% to one animal; the Duck splits it with chicken and the Ocean Fish between salmon and white fish.
Nearly everything carries a printed percentage, down to the cranberry. What varies is the analysis: fat, energy and estimated carbohydrate move with the animal, and the Ocean Fish is the one noticeably starchier recipe.
