My Pet Says
My Pet Says Wilderness 80: Duck, Pork, Turkey & Angus Beef review
Flavour
Grain-free kibbles that fill 80% of every recipe with named animals and show the working, all in our Excellent band. Each blends four species over the same vegetable medley. The chicken and duck blends sit a shade ahead of the fish.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Owners who want every fresh and dried meat share printed
- Homes with dogs of any age, as each recipe covers puppy to senior
- Grain-free bowls, with sweet potato, tapioca, lentils and chickpeas carrying the starch
- Creakier dogs. Glucosamine and MSM are dosed at 178 mg/kg
- Sporting and working dogs, at 382 to 406 kcal per 100g
Worth watching
- Several species in every bowl, so none can anchor a single-protein elimination plan
- Calcium on the chicken recipe suits a big-breed puppy less well than the other two
- Rich kibbles: measure the portion if your dog's exercise is mostly ornamental

The fish-free choice, and it edges the range on our scoring.
Every recipe declares 80% named animals and prints a percentage beside each fresh and dried entry, down to the 2% stock. Each list opens on fresh meat, which is mostly water, so the dried entries behind it do more of the work than their place suggests. Protein converts to 41.3% of dry matter on all three.
The 18% vegetable medley repeats across the range, sweet potato first, then tapioca, beet pulp, lentils and chickpeas, with no cereal anywhere. The joint pack, the MOS and FOS pair and L-carnitine are dosed on every label. What varies is the cast of animals, the fat and the calcium.
