Millies Wolfheart
Millies Wolfheart Wet Complete: Highland review
Nine grain-free tins built on one idea, a large share of named meat or fish with every animal counted. Four sit in our Outstanding band, three in Excellent, and the Lamb and Veg and Turkey and Veg in Good. With this many recipes on one build, there is room to find the one your dog looks forward to.
Our view
Likely to suit
- A dog kept to one animal: Salmon, Lamb or Turkey and Veg
- Seeing every animal quantified on the label
- Grain-free homes, with sweet potato, parsnip and green beans carrying the starch
- Stiff or ageing joints, glucosamine and chondroitin on every tin
- Something beyond the butcher's list: goat, venison, rabbit, trout or tripe
Worth watching
- Three or four animals in several tins, so only the single-animal three suit a food-trigger test
- Salmon oil in the Gamekeeper, Highland, Riverside and Tracker
- Rich fat throughout, reaching 48.0% of dry matter on the Turkey and Veg

A duck-led tin that still carries fish, through its salmon oil.
Nine grain-free tins on one construction: a large share of named meat or fish, each animal with its own percentage, then green beans, sweet potato, parsnip, carrot, apple and pear. Every label ends with parsley, sage, seaweed, glucosamine, chondroitin, cranberry and yucca, and five print a dose against the joint ingredients.
Fat runs rich, 28.0% to 48.0% of dry matter, with protein 33.3% to 44.0%. Carbohydrate moves from 1.6% to 22.2% depending on how much of the tin the vegetables take. The vitamin and trace panel is identical on all nine. Salmon oil is on four tins.
