Honey's
Honey's Raw Lean: Turkey review
Honey's lean raw line, built for a dog carrying more weight than suits it, and all five recipes sit in our Outstanding band. The usual Honey's build holds: two thirds meat and bone, one third vegetables. What changes is the cuts, picked to keep the fat down while the protein holds up.
Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs on a weight plan. The cuts are leaner, the helpings are not smaller
- Single-meat feeding, as each tub names one animal and no second species
- Older dogs slowing down whose appetites have not
- Owners who want vegetables doing the bulking: a third of every tub
- A careful first go at raw, with 250g and 500g tubs on every recipe
Worth watching
- Big helpings, so the freezer fills faster; thaw overnight in the fridge and wash up properly
- No vitamins or minerals added, so the whole load sits with the meat, bone and vegetables
- Ground bone in all five with no calcium figure declared

The leanest meat in the range, carrying a fair weight of bone.

Each recipe names a single animal, and the lean reading comes from the cuts chosen. Nothing is added anywhere, so the meat, bone and vegetables carry all the micronutrients.
