Gelert
Gelert Country Choice Maintenance Adult: Chicken review
A rice and maize adult range in three proteins, made for plain everyday feeding. The chicken and lamb sit in our Good band and the fish one step behind in Average. That fish recipe quietly gives a poultry-free, red-meat-free option inside the same construction.

Our view
Likely to suit
- Adults that do well on cereal-based food
- The joint pair in print: glucosamine 175 mg/kg, chondroitin 125 mg/kg in every bag
- A prebiotic in every recipe, from mannan oligosaccharides
- Rotating proteins on one recipe frame and one feeding pattern
- A dog kept off poultry and red meat, who can stay in the range on the fish
Worth watching
- Maize in all three bags
- Dried maize protein makes up part of the protein in the chicken and lamb
- Carbohydrate from 49.9% to 56.5% of dry matter, above the 46.2% typical of adult dry food
- No dosed zinc or copper figures to check

The one bag with a calcium figure you can check.
White rice opens every recipe at 30% and maize is the second cereal throughout. The meat always arrives as a dried meal, so most of the declared share reaches the kibble, and each fat is named after its animal, with flaxseed oil at 1.5% in all three.
Every bag carries the same extras at printed doses: a MOS prebiotic, glucosamine, chondroitin, yucca and cranberry. Minerals are one word inline, with no separate panel. Ash follows the bone in each meal, low in the chicken and higher in the fish and lamb.
