The typical adult dry food reaches our Good band; Chudleys Lite sits a step below in our Average band, where protein and processing and nutritional balance both read Poor and transparency reads Good. Most of that gap is structural. A light recipe deliberately lowers fat, which pulls the meat share down with it, and this one leans on cereals with the poultry never pinned to a species. What the score cannot see is fitness for purpose: for an overweight dog, fewer calories per mouthful is exactly the tool required, and that tool works here.
