Carnilove
Carnilove Pate Pouches: Turkey & Buffalo review
Flavour
Six pâté pouches on one template, and the second animal is the interesting part: buffalo, quail, pheasant, venison, wild boar and duck. Five sit in our Excellent band and the venison in Outstanding. There is no fish in any of them, which is rarer in wet food than it should be.

Our view
Likely to suit
- Dogs that thrive on turkey, the lead in all six at 44%
- Owners hunting an unusual second meat, named and counted at 26%
- Dogs that must stay off fish. The omega 3 comes from linseed oil
- A pouch to open in place of half a tin, at 300g
- Very low carbohydrate feeding, as the estimate comes out at nothing
- Owners who want the energy figure printed, which every pouch does
Worth watching
- Turkey at 44% in every one, so check that first for a dog kept off it
- Cassia gum sets the pâté, for a short additive list
- Calcium reaches 3.98% of dry matter on the Turkey and Venison
- Fibre up to 20.0% of dry matter on the pheasant
