The Angus beef is the pick of the litter, with nutritional balance, transparency and value all reading Outstanding, though every flavour clears the bar comfortably.

Every flavour prints its own split of the 65% in the open. Take the beef: 35% freshly prepared Angus beef, then 25% dried beef and 5% beef fat. The dried share sits above 20% in most recipes. That makes the protein real and not a fresh-meat mirage. The analyses agree: 27.5% protein in the lamb at the bottom, 40.5% in the turkey at the top.

Beet pulp supplies the fibre, and the body of the recipe is sweet potato and beans. No grain appears anywhere in the range. Estimated carbohydrate spans 20.7% to 38.6% of dry matter across the flavours, all below the 46.2% typical of adult dry food.

Each flavour carries a dried superfood blend themed to it, ginger and kale with the chicken, mint and mulberry with the lamb, and so on. The blend's total is never printed, so read it as a flourish rather than a pillar; the declared meat is what these recipes stand on.

Prebiotics are dosed at 192 mg/kg of FOS and 48 mg/kg of MOS. The beef and buffalo recipes add a joint trio of glucosamine and MSM at 170 mg/kg each with chondroitin sulphate at 125 mg/kg.

For growing dogs, the all-life-stages labels deserve a close look at calcium. The turkey reads 1.52% of dry matter, comfortable for large breed puppies, while the salmon runs higher at 1.96%, which makes it the better fit for small and medium pups than for the giants.

Beef only, carrying the fullest analysis of the single-species flavours: protein reads 38% with estimated carbohydrate at 29.9% of dry matter, and the joint trio is included. Carrot, green beans, cauliflower and courgette make up its blend.
