In detail

Feelwell's: the closer look

The range

Eleven products across five ranges. Grain Free Adult is the biggest at four dry recipes, with three cold-pressed foods and two wet. A grain-free puppy kibble and a duck adult recipe complete the list. Ten products are for adults, six suit seniors and five are fed to puppies.

Ingredients

Lamb leads on three products, with chicken, fish and duck on two each, then beef and venison. Every recipe is grain free and eight are single protein. Linseed and omega 3 run through the dry food, and the cold-pressed recipes add chondroitin, glucosamine, salmon oil and yucca.

Nutrition

The cold-pressed recipes hold the highest protein as fed at 29.0 to 35.0%, with the dry food at 26.0 to 29.0% and the wet at 9.0%. Energy runs from 84 kcal per 100g on the wet food to 384 on the puppy kibble. Nutritional balance is Outstanding on two products and Average on three.

  • Outstanding transparency on ten products

Limitations

Where it is less of a fit

  • If you feed raw, check the formats here, as the range covers dry, cold-pressed and wet
  • If protein and processing matters most, check the Grain Free Adult recipes, since that pillar reads Good on seven products
  • If you want a large wet choice, check the Gourmet recipes, as the wet food is two products

Score overview

Transparency drives the Excellent band read, Outstanding on ten products, with value Excellent on seven. Protein and processing is Good on seven, with one Outstanding read and two at Average.
