The profile is easy to explain: a grain-led list and a moderate fish share, offset by honest dosing of its diet and joint extras. As a working weight-loss tool it does what its name promises.

The list opens with brown rice at 22% before dried fish arrives at 20%, with white rice at 10%, barley and oats behind. That ordering tells you the balance. Estimated carbohydrate converts to 57.1% of dry matter against the 46.2% typical, while protein still manages a respectable 22.8% of dry matter because dried fish is a concentrated protein source.

The slimming toolkit is genuine. Fat is held at 8% and energy at 341 kcal/100g sits under the typical 357. L-Carnitine is dosed at 480 mg to help the body draw on its fat stores. Beet pulp at 4% with pea fibre keeps the gut full and the dog less inclined to mug you between meals.
