Our reading places this recipe in the Good band, the same band where the typical adult dry food gathers. Transparency earns a Good pillar, with protein and processing and nutritional balance at Average, mostly because the two potatoes leave carbohydrate carrying a fair share of the bowl. For a grain free large breed recipe with its supplements dosed in print, that is a result to be comfortable with.

White fish arrives twice on this label, fresh at 22% and as a meal at 17%. Cooking drives most of the water out of the fresh portion, so the meal, already dry when it goes in, ends up shouldering much of the finished protein, which converts to 26.1% of dry matter.

The binding falls to sweet potato at 22% and potato at 18%, and the recipe stays free of grain. Their combined presence shows in the carbohydrate estimate of 47.8% of dry matter, a shade over the 46.2% typical for adult dry food.

Refined chicken oil and whole egg complete the list, and they only matter if your household is avoiding chicken or egg outright.
